Actually, what I really wish I could say is that Christmas hasn’t become such a monetized holiday. I wish it wasn’t “normal” to get people things they likely don’t need or could get for themselves. I’ve been stressing out so much about finding the “perfect gift” for some people, and that’s really not what Christmas is about. It’s about finding joy in the fact that God sent His Son to earth to die for us, poor sinners that we are. You are saying exactly what Christmas is about these days . The TV is going crazy with sales and sales for Christmas stuff. I stopped doing Christmas gift many years ago, enough already. I just give each person a nice juicy mango, no wrapping.
