I've never had a real life conversation stay on a single topic, ever. It's kind of a social norm to go with the flow of conversation.

Pretty sure they were referring to the people that do their own thing/are completely random, not following any conversation even an off topic one.

If you don't want to give your animals treatment then you shouldnt have them at all.

If I'm raising them for meat, I won't let them suffer. But I absolutely will process one earlier than I had planned, or dispatch one and not eat it, if there is something wrong with it. If it has a healthy buddy that will then be lonely, I'll process that one too rather than leave it lonesome.

I'm not sure whether "beheading a chicken" counts as "treatment" or not.
