(this is one I am tempted to say from time to time)
Along with - Why are you asking me when it is so obvious?

I literally had someone ask how to remove an item from the cart on amazon. There is a literal trash can icon right on the item.

I am fond of telling the guys here at work ‘one must need a university degree to change the toilet paper roll, seeing as how you always leave it for ME to change’.

My husband did this for about 8 years of our marriage, before one day he confessed he cant figure out where I stored it! i showed him, and suddenly the roll was always full, but I couldn't keep track of how quickly we went though it and we ended up running out a few times, now he tells me if we need some when I'm at the store. It took us 12 years.. but we finally got it down!

There's a phone app called Any List. You can share the list with anyone you like. It's very convenient for shopping lists because if you see that you need something, you add it to the list, and the next time either of you is at the store, they check the list and pick up what's on it.

Been married 40 years and my husband still thinks the Toilet Paper Fairy brings the extra rolls when he uses the last one.

Personally most of the time I take it as a compliment, since I'm a stay at home mom it must mean I'm doing my job well if he doesnt need to know.

(I actually do know about the trash can in shopping carts, but I have been badly confused by lots of different icons over the years, especially because it seems like every website and every program have their own icons, and they all change them at semi-random intervals. So I have some definite sympathy with the person who couldn't figure it out.)

It is a little trash can. There used to be a "minus" there. It's pretty obvious to me, at least. I've been summoned for tech support because the same person didn't read an error message.
