Got these two from the local feed store - SURE they're "Araucanas" just like the 20-year old kid told me-LOL!

Pretty sure I have a girl and a boy EE, but anyone wanna reinforce my opinion on that? They're about 4.5 weeks which I know is early but really - the comb, the baldness and the brown on the wings? Thanks!!

Thanks, you two! See, I knew all that old 4-H stuff would come back from the dim recesses of my mind - we used to raise the chicks and ducklings in a box up on the griddle of the stove (turned OFF, obviously - just pilots to keep 'em warm) and I just looked at these two and went, "Oh- boy, girl!" Appreciate the affirmation

1 pullet and 1 cockeral yes. EE no. The cockeralin front has a definite single comb. Both have bright yellow legs and they hold their tails way too high. I would deffinitely say no to them being EEs.

Me too. I don't see easter egger there at all. The pullet might be a Welsummer? Hard to tell at this age, couple different breeds have that same chipmonk coloring, and I'm really not sure what a Wellie roo might look like at this age. Maybe go to the Welsummer thread and ask those folks.

Thanks so much, everyone! I had also noticed that the legs seemed wrong for EEs - definitely yellow and no greenish cast whatsoever. I will go check out Welsummers!
