Think I might have a rooster or 2??

Here are some better pics - locked the cats up for a bit and got them out ;) IMG_20170522_162735.jpg IMG_20170522_162806.jpg IMG_20170522_162850.jpg IMG_20170522_162928.jpg IMG_20170522_163050.jpg

And this one shows really well the difference betw the sickle feathers on the cockerel and the hen feathering on the pullet. (look at the base of the tail) Nice job Saraley!

Could circle or point out the difference or reference it with another pic or link - I think I know what you are referring to but want to make sure for my own knowledge, so I can start picking these things up myself ;)

II don't know how to make a drawing on a picture , maybe @The Angry Hen can do it? I'm looking at the last body feathers near the tail. On a cockbird/cockerel/roo they curve downward in a 'sickle' shape, whereas the pullet/hen feathers flow smoothly back in the direction of the tail. Also the neck/hackle feathers are more pointy at the tips for the male and the hen's are more rounded, but that's harder for me to spot in a photo. Hope this helps! Learning about your own birds is so much fun:D

BTW your photos are some of the best I've seen to show this...you should save them to help others.
