Think I was taken...Cochin question...

They have really small straight combs. The silkie cross has the dark purplish mulberry comb, so I don't think that she is the mom. They also seem to have lighter legs, not a darker one like a silkie cross would.

The silkie mix doesn't have muffs or beard, neither does the roo. He looks like a poor quality cochin.

Silkies around here don't go for much. A lady was selling her SQ rejects for $5 each. They were good birds, not up to her standards, though.

As for the price, here in Northern California, that would've been a deal (even at the little swaps and flea-market sales)!! Have fun with them anyway!! ~Lisa
