I'm thinking about getting some bantams after I move the quail out of the "playhouse" coop. I really don't care for silkies or cochins. What other choices do I have? Care to share your thoughts and pics? How many will fit in a "playhouse" coop. Coop=2ftx3ft Run 3ftx8ft
 
Why not silkies or cochins? If you can state the reasons, then we can eliminate breeds that have that characteristic and choose the ones who are, more or less, opposite to it. If you don;t care for foot feathers, then we can eliminate all the feather footed breeds. If it's the soft, fluffy feathers, then we can go straight to hard feathered birds. If ...
 
I don't care for feather footed, dunno what it is. And silkies, they just look too strange to me. Sorry.

I've seen pic of Seabrights, I think they are really pretty.

What is out there that looks "like a chicken" just in smaller size?

on Serama's and Japanese Bantams. The Serama's were harder to find in my area and I ordered the Japanese from Ideal which didn't do very well in shiping. No feathers on their feet and they are really small.
