My 2 cents too
.Its so hard to decide what to pick but once you start hatching unless you stress out really easily you will be hooked and do more and more. .
I dont know anyone who put it away after the first hatch. Most not even after the 4th or more.. Also they are very resalable as are seldom resold!
.
I would skip the cheaper Little Giant seems ppl have nothing but trouble with them. and the mini Brinsea is good im sure but doesnt hold many eggs. The $100 Hovabator is fine but I would just get the Hovabator 1588 " Genesis" as it has an auto temp gauge that keeps the temp even all the time. .
which is a priceless feature.
It is about $40 more without turner but you will be very happy with it.
The turner is fine but not needed really Hand turning isnt a big problem just 3 times a day
.
The Hova and Hova Genesis both hold about 40 eggs both use the same turner but Genesis has an automatic set temp so you dont have to worry about temp spikes that can freak you out and could kill your eggs if high enough..Gen stays about 99.5 to 100.2 the whole hatch VERY little varying
Just have to worry about the humidity with the Genesis Itdoes have a built in humidity gauge to watch when you need to add water..
. It also has a full view window not 2 small ones which is great to see your eggs hatch
.I purchased the cheaper Hova first.
Humidity and temp flucuated so badly drove me crazy and i got ZERO my first 2 hatches but they WERE shipped eggs too ...However I still do use it for lockdown if i have other eggs in the Genesis so it wasnt wasted money . It isnt HORRIBLE just not stress free...
The temp did steady up when i use a lot of eggs in it and have it in my closet.
But I lOVE my Genesis .Do over and just get one even though its more $$$ and im CHEAP?..........i would get a Genesis every time
GOOD LUCK!

I appreciate all the input it has helped so much
but get the turner makes it very easy , for people who have things to do besides watch a bator all day
