When I first got into chickens, I thought about my parents bringing some eggs back from the UK. TGosh I figured out it was not legal. I can just see my poor parents busted for smuggling eggs for me.

I was just thinking today of how my mille fluers could be crossed with my Ameraucanas and Marans. I would love to see large fowl with that beautiful mille fluer pattern. So pretty.

And btw, never ask us if you should get chickens. There is really only one answer with us.

I do love Speckled Sussex, and you are right. I didn't think of them during this thread. I have never seen them in person.

Mine are probably my friendliest birds. They are constantly underfoot when I'm in their pen.

Awww, I love chickies like that. I have one flock that makes a beeline for me everytime they hear my voice. I know it is just for treats, but it makes me feel like they like me. (even though I know they could care less)

There are just too many gorgeous birds out there. SS and BLRW are two on my wish list. But I have too many breeds as it is....
