Cotton Patch Geese are the sweetest geese I've ever experienced. They're a little bigger than Pekin Ducks, can fly(not very far though), not as vocal as most other breeds and are critically endangered. Mine do well with flock protection; but I know others who have them and it seems to depend on the individual bird. They do well with mowing, eating weeds pests and children. The perfect goose in my opinion

Awww you have saxony ducks too, do you sell hatching eggs?

Watch craigslist might be able to find some older geese in need of a new home. Females would def be better. Or two ganders by themselves
Would older geese have a harder time acclimating or chances of running away? How aggressive are ganders, like compared to bad roosters. Is it not a good idea to get goslings straight run?

Cute geese!

Side question, but has anyone here ordered from Ideal Poultry? They sell geese, I think the minimum is two, but I can't seem to figure out their shipping. Just 7$ handling charge or something not very specific. Doesn't seem like it would be free.
