Good! Well, we don't have a pond, but they will have access to water of course and maybe we can set up a little pool for them. I've heard they don't have to swim just enough to get there heads wet and stuff? Is this true? They do well, always foraging, I have 6 acres though so 2 don't make much of a dent, they spend most of the day in the pond
Mine swim quite alot, when they were young and not going in the pond they spent alot of time in the water bowls we had out for them. But idk if that's universal for all geese.Good! I'm not sure, you may have to routinely put them in it at first and then I'd imagine they would get the hang of it on their own. My goose flies to the pond from the barn sometimes and vice versaSpeaking of ponds... one important question, will they fly to swim into the above ground pool we set up in summer? I have a bad feeling the answer will be yes.
I was thinking more like keeping them out of it. The pool would be for people use, not the geeseI'm not sure, you may have to routinely put them in it at first and then I'd imagine they would get the hang of it on their own. My goose flies to the pond from the barn sometimes and vice versa
