One third of an acre is not a very big area. I don't recommend trying to raise turkeys on that small of a plot.

Hello! Welcome to BYC! I don`t have any experience with ducks or turkeys. If it was me I would start out with chickens and maybe go from there. There is a learning curve. Starting out slow and gain a bit of experience would go a long way! Best of luck to you!

We have a Coop forum you could peruse. Unless that mother-in-law house isn't functional as is and could be remodeled to be a coop? Otherwise, check FB Marketplace for a shed, coop, (or ice fishing house, depending on where you live).
