Have some straw bales. Can put some of it in run. The sides of the coop and run will have corrugated plastic panels. Any concerns with using straw as a floor insulation?

I have pine under their roost and in nest boxes so this would just be for floor. I’m not concerned it will get wet as sides will be covered. Can pull out in spring. I like the idea of a place to sit. There is a long history of using straw as chicken coop bedding. I found that it needed changing more often than shavings so I don't -- except that during particularly wet seasons (my winter is rainy rather than snowy), with my in-town flock I put a couple intact bales into the run so that the chickens would have a dry place to sit.
