Winter has hit here again-- cold rain last night changed to 20's, snow and wind chills to 0!! Go away artic air!!!

Hope the hens keep laying!!

With all this horrid snow and frigid temps my hens haven't laid in a while. I'm really getting worried that I won't have anything for the hatch!

Could this dark egg be from 1 of my young palm hens? My other palm hen lays a very light egg with tiny pale speckles just a bit smaller than the 2 slate eggs in this pic. I started getting these this past week but just thought 1 of my EE pullets had finally started to lay & was laying an odd egg.

THis looks like a turkey eggs to me-- my EE's lay a normal chicken sized egg. And not speckled.

My turkey eggs are this sandy pink color with freckles. lol THe freckles seem to vary from fewer to well covered.

I vote turkey.
