Its okay. I hate that stupid cat though. Sometimes I seriously debate on shooting it. MY cats are good.
There are 3 that are 4 weeks old and the other 13 are 5 weeks old. They basically took themselves off the light and they were inside without heat for a week or so then went outside without heat to see how they would do.
MY cats are good. Its the neighbors stupid cat. They were all in outdoor brooders. But apparently I didn't secure that one good enough. I still don't know how it got in but the only animal ever around is that cat so I know that was what got it. As said above, I seriously debate on shooting it every time it makes its furry way over here. The day it takes out one of my big chickens, my dogs will have a good meal of fresh kitty.

my neighbors with the dogs definitely believed me when i said that. they had an invisible fence up within a week

Unfortunately its not the same neighbor that has the cats. Only 2 of his cats come near my property, only one up near the house but he has like 10+ cats and 2 big dogs. And unfortunately for the cats, he doesnt listen as well as the other neighbors.

I see a bit of blue in the hens tail-- very lovely.

I have a turkey hen sitty now--- totally stoked!! SHe's sitting on eggs. ANd in a dog crate INSIDE the fenced yard. Praying that is safe enough.

How is calf and new momma??

These two are both the same breed and 5 days old.... the little one is the only one out of 21 chicks that is this small. Luckiy she doesn't get picked on and she just climbs all over the bigger chicks.
