Oh, my good people!

I have lost 2 very dear people in 5 days I'm in a place with much need of cheer!!!

I am setting 20 dozen eggs in the Sportsman and will need to hand-turn many.

I seriously need a laugh, so it is time:




LET THE STRAIGHTJACKET SELECTIONS COMMENCE!!!


Most of us the first year were incapable of keeping our hands out of the incubators, and thus we decided we all needed straight-jackets.








I'll start.

This year I will wear a red sequined pair of combat boots with a gingham pinafored jacket. Picture a Dorothy from Wizard of Oz Gone Crackers number.

My grandmother would have loved it; it's in honor of her.

Mind you, my hair is in Pippi Longstocking wacky braids, too!!

Why, thank you! I hadn't put any thought into it, but Grama was always a woman of distinctive fashion and grew up in a hotel in the truely FLAT part of Kansas. She had a wacky sense of humor and made a lot of Wiz of O jokes, many of them colorful, so it seems perfect.

Pinwheel spoke to that turkey, I'm convinced. She whispered to her that she could have all the eggs she wanted. A buffet of chickens in the various rund have gone off radar, too. I'll have some biddies to do the raising, it seems!
