Love the comb on that guy! I had someone e-mail me that is looking to re-home two silkie roosters, one splash and one lav split. He said they won at the fair this year, and I think I remember seeing the splash one - just gorgeous, and I'm not usually drawn to silkies.

Nava - what kind/ gender is that turkey (I know nothing about turkeys) - I have someone who knows someone that has been looking for some turkeys.......

On behalf of Sandi/ Fowlmom I will be selling straight run light and dark brahmas, Ameraucanas, and Cochins. The ones mentioned in the previous post will be hatchery-sexed, and if they are wrong she will exchange it. Heard from another lady bringing show-quality seramas, EE's (not for show, of course), as well as pheasants, geese, and bantam modern game.

Another guy e-mailed me looking for bantam cornish rocks - I didn't even know they came in bantam size......

chics in the sun how much advertisement are you making? do you think there's going to be a good turn out?

I hope so! I have posted flyers in feed stores and pet stores, and have a few more to post (both Pinellas and Hillsborough county feed stores) this week. I put it on Craig's list, and will re-post each week. I also posted on Facebook, and the 4-H club/ "Pinellas Citizens for Back Yard Poultry" web page has it listed. They also posted flyers at the state fair for me. Oh, and one of the only people in Pinellas that is allowed to have roosters and breed chicks is promoting it for me to her customers and friends, and it's her chicks I'll have for sale.
I've got quite a few people bringing poultry at this point, and now I'm trying to make sure we have plenty of buyers! It was the opposite problem in November - I had a bunch of customers and only a few chicks. I'm doing everything I can think of to generate interest - it should be a great time!

You never said what kind of turkey that is - a guy wants to know....
