Third time's a charm!

Finally! My one Silkie hen went broody back in December. Place a few eggs under her; eggs developed but somewhere along the line they died; second time, same thing. Today is actually hatch day, however, one of the eggs I placed under her (for the third time) had different plans. Went home last night and heard soft peeping. Aretha finally has a chick to raise! Just the one chick thus far, but, I'm hopeful that the other two eggs will hatch at some point today or tomorrow.
