This little diddle is a Speckled Sussex who is 4 weeks old. The age is absolute, as I always mark my calendar when I hatch or otherwise acquire new chicks. All hatch mates are growing and feathering normally. This one has very odd wing feathers. The primaries stick up and out. It has an incomplete set of primaries and a double row of secondary feathers. Aside from the wing feathers, there's not another single feather anywhere on the body, only chick fuzz. Any ideas other than some kind of genetic congenital defect?

It looks at most a week.........I have no idea, other than maybe it's a genetic defect or it's a really late bloomer. (probably the genetic defect)
