This baby got pecked....

a friend has a pullet that got pecked pretty bad but doesnt seem lif or death. She got her all cleaned up and bl;eeding stopped and such last night but now she has this weird blister type bump on her neck. Does anyone know what it is or what to do with it?

I think she is going to join BYC herself but shes kind of caught up right now caring for this pullet

It could be her crop. I don't know chicken anatomy very well, but I've seen weird bumps on my chicks, and it went away.

crop is in the front. this is on the top of her neck

I think it's a hematoma, which is a fluid filled (or blood filled bump) from when she got pecked. I think maybe it'll just go away. I would keep an eye on it, and if it seems to get worse, you could drain the fluid from it.
