Yes! When my cockerel was little he’d sit on my lap and eat all the mosquitos coming for meMy favorite prey of the chickens is mosquitoes! Sometimes they snatch the bloodsuckers right off me. I always praise them. Good girls!
Good question! That was my best guess at the time, I couldn’t get it away from them quick enough to identify it properly before it was splattered everywhere. Is it a horned tomato worm? Juicy if so!
Mine love horse poop! Yummy…?Wren (pictured in my profile photo) is my 10 week-old cochin bantam. She loves loves loves poop pickup time so she can EAT THEM OFF THE POOP SCOOP!
Have the same problem with one of my 4 week-olds. I pick the poops out of the brooder by hand, and she lunges for them.
Why... why do all the deranged chickens seem to gravitate towards my house...
Hahaha oh my I laughed so hard at your snake video and then this one. "You're like a lion on the Serengeti" had me cracking up.And Ruth - the sounds of her smacking that poor frog onto the brick pavers is cringe worthy!
Maybe it’s Cochin bantams that have a taste for poop… I have the same problem and a very similar breed (pekins)Wren (pictured in my profile photo) is my 10 week-old cochin bantam. She loves loves loves poop pickup time so she can EAT THEM OFF THE POOP SCOOP!
