We've all been there, Kelly, hence this thread
When I first got chickens the first time the two chicks I got threw themselves down in the sun I freaked out and called my niece!
“Aunt Kelly, they are sunbathing, they’ll be fine”
Same deal when they first dirtbathed - I thought for sure they were dying! I am also sure my niece thinks I’m an idiot! Horses at least snore!
the first time one of mine started her molted, I thought a predator had gotten in the run. I grabbed her up and sprayed blue coat on her she hated me for the rest of her life.
