Yesterday I heard some fluttering noises outside my window, and when I took a look through the blinds, I saw nothing but "dead" doves!

By the time I grabbed my mobile phone to take photographs, many of the doves had unfortunately (or fortunately) "risen from the dead". Here is what I did managed to capture, while hurriedly wrestling with the blinds and the angle of my mobile phone lens...

I tried.

Edited to add: there were many more birds further along the wall, including some house sparrows who were burying each other in dust baths. Clearly each thought the others were dead and needed burying?!?
