Last night the chooks ran out the back door of the barn to pick through horse poop the brats! Anywhoooo next thing I look out and the horses were at the back door with the cow birds and the chooks all darting between their legs picking at fresh poop! Sheesh! It’s a wonder I am not grey haired worrying about being stomped by horses and catching whatever diseases cow birds carry!

It was hilarious though watching them scrap with the wee cow birds over bits of whatever they are getting from the horse manure. Of course the cow birds know they fly better then the chooks
