Yep he’s a little prince, and he knows it!

I was at the feed store last year and could hear this chick just screaming! After I grabbed my feed I sashayed over to the chicks and there were only two in the bins. The one scream it’s head of and another ignoring him.

I went and found a store associate and told him ‘give a deal and I’ll take those last two off your hands’.

Deal done feed paid for I headed home with a screaming chick. When I got home I picked him up and snuggled him and shut up. Yay! I picked up the other one and snuggled it also they both fell asleep while I sat and surfed the net.

They were so tiny, smaller than my baby silkies even! By 3 weeks i knew the screamer was a cockerel.

June 2024, snuggled into my jacket while I sat on the lawn chair.
