This coop?

Well you aren't short on space from the way it looks!

If it were me I'd avoid having the coop right under windows due to smell flies etc.

But using the house as one side of the run :thumbsup
Those windows haven't been opened in a long time. We keep them covered with multiple blankets and keep them closed.

That's still only 9sq ft. Room for 2. Maybe 3 if one is a serama.

They will definitely fight and poop on each other with roosts set up like that.
Okay. How about this:

Same picture, different measurements.

Geez you have lots of space!!
Or aren't you allowed to use it all?

That a pretty nice isometric drawing, you've got some skills there.

5x8x5 is better than 3x8x5....but still.

And no, i cant use it all. It can't be too close to the neighbor's property, but I live on the corner of my street so I only have one neighbor and i rarely see them outside.

Keep in mind that your dimensions are best matched up with standard lumber sizes.
Assuming your going to build a wooden frame and then cover with 1/2" hardware cloth.
A hoop coop still might be the best bang for your $150 bucks.

I know that those tiny coops are so cute, but they're worth :th
Besides only being able to hold up to 2 chickens, falling apart, etc. Predators can break into them very easily.
I have seen everywhere when predators can easily and very simply break in, kill all of your birds, and leave just as easily.
It isn't worth it, so I would build a good, sturdy coop for less than a hundred dollars, or if you really just want to buy one, save up for one that you'll be glad you spent your money on ;)
