I feel really depressed when I leave there, I think it's a form of compassion fatigue. They always have several hundred chicks and I'd say that 75% of them have that droopy, fluffed look. Don't even get me started on the sick adult birds!Thats horrible.

Yeah I hope they are all right.that's plain irresponsible of them. That kind of warrants SPCA intervention, as the animals are ill and nothing is being done about it.
oh, and btw, my chickens occasionally poop that texture and color, but usually it doesn't stay like that. They have been healthy up to this point.
