This does not look like a turkey to me

I can't tell. I have had CX's show that barring on occasion, but looks too small to be a CX unless really young. I've also had Delawares appear similar with adolescent feathers. How active is it? and what are you feeding (percent protein)? Does it seem flighty or docile?

How did you find out he was in the back being quarantined? Whenever I’m in rural king no one is even tending to the animals they have.

Good reason not to buy animals there I would say. Especially "pullets". Sounds like the sort of place where while they may have originally been put in the proper bin, they won't necessarily be put back there by customers/staff.

I think it's a Delaware mix.;)

Whatever he is, he sure is handsome :)!
I see a pullet, By the size of her i'd say shes around 4 months old and at that age for a cockerel she would have much more comb/wattle development and would alright have saddle/hackle feathers in.

She also looks a delaware x white plymouth rock to me.

I agree. Definitely a pullet, and I agree with the age. I don't have a Rural King, but if they are like Tractor supply, they probably don't have cross breeds except for sex-linked hybrids. I would go with Delaware.
