Just making sure. I candled this one today on day 11 and could see no apparent veining. There was a dark spot on the surface that looked like an embryo that had died. No movement. I cracked it open with the following result.

I'm pretty sure it was dead... the embryo is a fair size but there was no movement when I cracked it open and I think there would be more veining. Also, I am wondering what that white speckling is on the yolk? Potential bacteria growth? The egg did not smell when I opened it. I think it died around day 10. It does have a beak and was alive on day 7. However, it degraded pretty easily when I was disposing of it.

I am highly confident that it is dead but would feel horrible if it turns out there was a chance it wasn't. Also wondering what caused this... it's unusual to have mid-term deaths.

Thanks!
