The game had nothing to do with it. The kid has some major problems. Like silkiechicken said, it couldve been anything, stereo system, guitar, ball bat, etc... He has major problems.

I really don't think the game is to blame here.

I mean way back when I was a kid there were no video games, but we played shoot 'em up type games in the woods using cap guns and our imagination all the time, and none of the kids that I used to play with have killed anybody.

Clearly there are issues other than the game.

i am telling you..there is a reason they dont let children with "problems" play these games..its a proven fact..it CAN and usually does make them worse.....in my job, these games are one of the biggest no-no's.... ALL the therapists that specialize in these high risk kids say this...i have been to many courses about this..its true ..

Then you will have arthritis..... I say, get a hand held system, and spend the same 15 minutes in the bathroom that your husband does every morning. Those things will really wake you up. This is a throw back, but Ms. Pac Man is my favorite. Chomp Chomp Chomp.....

Dang, they shouldn't ban 'em, but they should put a age limit on 'em in my opinion. I aint a kid no more, but I've played (and own) all 3 Halo's, war games of all sorts, and other stuff, and I caint imagine doin somethin stupid like that... His crap aint about the game, thats just a stupid punk wantin to kill somethin.

There ARE age limits on them. I bought a game for my son for Christmas and they had to scan my drivers license......

PS - My son is 19....
