Well, I agree with you, he's definitely a rooster. Breed, though, has me stumped. His comb looks like a combination of single and pea, which might mean he's a mix of two breeds. Those are blue or gray legs, not green, right? He looks rather like a gamecock in build, or maybe a games cross (Old English Games, probably; I am not familiar with the Modern Games). For a young bird, those are some pretty impressive hackle and saddle feathers, which can also be an OEG trait. If he's a games cross, then that might explain why he's smaller than the others. Do you know which hen is his mother? Is his father a big bird?

I have herd of chickens that grow slow. One lady I talked to said she had a chick that was half the size of it's others. It took a little longer to grow than the other ones but now it's her biggest bird.

He's a crossbred and somewhere in his genetic make up there may be bantam blood. He has simply inherited some of the bantam traits among which is smaller size. Mutt chickens can display a wide range of size, color, and body types. This is why they are among my favorites.

He is a game rooster. I have some games that do not reach their full size until they are 2 years old. He may be like that and just grow slower.

wow thank you all the legs are blueish he has the preaties red eyes i ever seen in a roo and all i know its that his mom its just like the one in this pic
