    what does it meen when hens go broody? god i feel like i should know this lol!!

    it means she will start sitting on eggs to hatch them.

    thank you!! if i dont have a roo then i wont have to worry about fertilized eggs right??

    you won't have to worry about fertilized eggs, but if your hen goes broody she will stop laying ...

    actually some BYC-ers will envy you because broody hens tend to have a better hatch rate than incubators ...
