This is a long shot, looking for a home for older hens in WA

Here is a sanctuary they could go live happy lives at in Washington don’t know how close to you tho but just for them a chance to live a good rest of their life

I live on 0.25 acres with a coop thats barley the minimum for the 7 chickens I do have

I don't care about eggs, I just love chickens. Such wonderful pets. I'd happily take a group of old ladies if I could

Wym room?

The size of the coop and run. You can only fit so many chickens in a certain amount of space. Thats an issue for me in my new setup to, the same reason I have to get rid of them.

You could try craigslist. My dad made an ad on craigslist a few years ago to get rid of some old hens for me, and and elderly lady came and picked them up. She has since taken more old hens from me, and is a good friend of mine. Who knows, maybe God will bless you in the same sort of way!

Sadly my dad doesn't think the same

when ours get old he's gonna give them away for butchering .. it makes me cry thinking about it.
