This is a REALLY GROSS question, but need an honest answer!!

I read alot of post where people dump the bodies of critters they killed in thier back yards. Don`t any of you think that might attract other preditors. One Thanksgiving I took the carcass of the turkey and put it down by the brook in my back yard. It is about 100 yards away. With in 15 minutes there was a coyote chomping on it. I did not have chicken then but now that I do I tag and bag. Why invite trouble.

Yeah, I have thought about it acctually. I didn't just throw a dead body into the yard and shrug my shoulders though. My husband dug a hole and put the body parts that we didn't feed the chickens in the hole and packed it down with dirt. My neighbor attracts more predators with leaving the trash on her porch than I do. I threw some of her trash away once and while I was throwing it into the dump there was a grocery bag with one of the meat packs for like steaks that was growing hundreds of maggots. The last time I left trash in the back of my truck (weekend) something got back there and threw it OUT of the back of my truck and got into it. What's the difference? There isn't one, regardless of whether its trash, cat food, rotten food threw over my fence, or a body from a critter it all attracts predators.

that's kinda gross
