He’s 11 weeks old today, a surprise box baby, but looking like an Easter egger/maybe golden Wyandotte mix? Really docile, no crowing yet (but that’s no dead give away).
Anyhoo, I can’t see a scenario in which this is a girl and I’m traveling soon so I need to start looking to rehome him before he finds his voice while I’m out of town. I just wanted to check here to make sure I’m right! He’s so beautiful, and I love his red shoulders. Sad I can’t keep him.

Yes, trust your instincts, that is definitally a rooster. I'm sorry you're going to have to give him away because he is gorgeous.

He's definitely a rooster, and very handsome! He looks to me to be part EE, but crossed with something that has yellow legs. Hopefully someone with more experience will answer!

I was looking at his feathers and he looks completly Easter Egger... I just have no clue as to why or how his legs are yellow.

I don't really see boy. For 11 weeks the comb is not very red and the saddle feathers look rounded. Second to last picture could be pointed ones, but pic is a little fuzzy for me.

On a different thread, someone mused there might be production red somewhere in him. But I’m not really sure. He’s absolutely beautiful and has a great personality. I figured maybe Wyandotte because his neck looks exactly like my glw lady.
