Hi, I’m Beth!
I just picked up my 5 hens and 1 rooster yesterday; they’re 16 weeks old. My rooster is a lavender Orpington and my hens are a Delaware, a Plymouth Rock, an Easter Egger, a Golden laced Wyandotte, and a Silver laced Wyandotte.
This is a new experience and I have no idea what I’m doing! I read different sources to get ready but now that they’re here, I feel like a new mom!
I’m a high school special education teacher and my husband is a golf course superintendent. In addition to the birds, we have a dog and 2 cats.
I’m looking forward to this experience even though I’m a little intimidated by it right now!
