MuranoFarms, we do actually have a motion sensor light on the porch, of course it would depend on how close he got for it to go off?
I had thought about putting one closer to the dog area as well.
Thank you.

Not that it will help your problem but I have a neighbor who confronted a man after his dog left a "pile" in his yard. The man did not care and said it was just poo and would go away on its own then the man walked away. My neighbor then went and bagged up the poo himself and waited for the man to return. When the man walked back by my neighbor went out and gave him the bag and told him that he had left it there earlier.

I didn't realize that your fiance had already confronted the man. Sorry. Does this guy come by regularly or randomly? I am thinking that it would be really helpful to have him followed by someone so you can get either his address or a description of his car & license plate. I mean, maybe he drives to a location nearby and then gets out walks around & drives home? I just think the cops could run his license or you could check sex offender registration? This sounds like a nightmare. I am so sorry that you are going thru this.

fancbrd4meo2, this guy never comes by various times. I guess that might be a tip off as well.
I situated it so that I can see the front walk/part of the yard, from my computer, of course after dark that doesnt help as much.
A friend of mine had also suggested that maybe he drives here and walks around but from what people have told me so far, we THINK that is not the case. I could see some psycho doing that though.
chickenshagg, you dont know how much I WISH that was all I had to do and thank you for it. It makes me more determined to get back to something closer to "normal".

My daughter and I are dying to know where you live. We're near Pine City. There's lots of weirdos around here, but most of our neighbors are nice. I don't want to know EXACTLY where you live, just the general area.

MagsC Think about getting a wireless driveway sensor you can put the motion sensor
anywhere and you can also have multiple sensors for one unit. Then you will know exactly
when someone is out there without spending your life looking out the window.
Be careful there are some twisted people now a days.I have a driveway sensor and I know when
someone is outside. It is better to have the jump on them. They will be left wondering how you knew about
them being out there. Also I think I would have the men in your family relocate him.I know most on this site are
against relocating. some would go with sss (shoot, shovel, shut up) Kidding aside a wireless motion sensor is the best 79 bucks
I have spent. Good luck and stay alert.

colleensstuff, if you would like to know exactly, pm me. Otherwise, I will tell you we are in the Rochester area.
In general, this HAS been a halfway decent place to live(other than I am and never will be a town or city person, not in my wiring) but one moron can mess it up anywhere I guess.

redstars, we dont have a driveway as such, the house faces the street and we have a gravel parking area in back. However, I think we could probably attach a motion sensor somewhere to the front of the house. Putting it that way, it might not be a bad thing to see if there was a way to get a package that had at least a couple of lights in it and put them elsewhere as well.
Ack. I feel like I am in a war or something. Maybe I am.

I know of a guy that bagged the poo for a girl who let her dog crap randomly in the park. He told her it illegal leave that there asked her to clean up after her dog and she ignored him. So he bagged and when he attempted to give her the bag she just said 'eeewww....I'm not touching that!!!' and walked away.

Sounds like a peeping tom to me. Using the dog as an excuse to get up close to peoples house and thats why he doens't listen to you when you tell him not to let his dog come on your property. His obcession is stronger than respecting your property.
that's my guess
good luck

Yep, I hate to say, that sounds about right. Probably doesn't even live in the area, but has his "routes" staked out. Make his life miserable. What you said about your daughter gave me the creeps...
