This is Little Peck- can you give me a breed and age?

Don't sultans have feathering down their legs? They also have a crest

I'm not saying he's pure, but could be a possibility...

Yeah that comes in from the silkie, if he were mixed with cochin he'd have completely feathered legs.

Not necessarily. But that bird isn't a cochin cross, the tail set is wrong, especially since its a silkie cross. I figure you are looking for at least three different breeds, but it may have been a back cross back to a silkie. Clear as mud?

Cochins are feathered legged aren't they? I said completely, but meant more as in they would have more feathers than just a few down the leg,,,,

The orange (gold) color is coming through because even thought he is visually blue, his father more than likely was a carrier of the gold gene.

Yes Daniel, they are, but other indicators tell me that this bird isn't a cochin cross.

Yes i know, which is why i also said he doesn't have Cochin in him. the leg feathering was just one of the things.. I never base my opinion off of just a few things and never write what all i do base it off of. (Don't feel like writing books as posts more than i already do, though i have tried to memorize and familiarize myself with every breed i could).

I also just noticed today that along with the orange hackle, the black thats coming in is really dark and shiny
