Well it’s day 16 and none of my chicks ever even moved! I hear they move to get themselves ready.... also when I had candles them at day 14 all their air pouches were not penetrated by their beaks? What gives? Did yours move at all in day 15?

My last hatch, the first few broke through the air cell on day 17 and hatched the same day. I didn't see any rocking before that (might have something to do with the shelf liner I put them on). Hands off is the best approach, but if you're sure you can't see any pips in a day or two, I don't think it would hurt to candle one quickly and make sure they're still wiggling in there.

Yeah they don’t hatch til 16-18 days sometimes even another day or so.

It’s pretty normal not to see egg wiggling and it’s normal to see it. Some of mine are wiggling and they are not on lockdown yet but some are not it’s always the same, I get some that I never see move at all and then they hatch. Just got to be patient.

Ok.... I hear y’all opinion on the quail.... it’s day 17.... I lowered humidity wich spiked to 95% for some god forsaken reason last night to 83%.... day 17 and they still don’t move or peep.... I’ll wait until day 18.... if they don’t move or peep by then I’ll maybe.... muster enough energy to be patient for day 19, just maybe....(what’s killing me most is that they were all alive in day 14 pumping blood and stuff it would make me real sad they died due to me being not a good master-bator(short for master incubator).... otherwise I appreciate all the help guys.... really gets me calm about the situation)

Update!!!!!!! Holy sheeeeeet one of the eggs has peeped!!!! No cracks yet.... but I’ll wait until it tells me it’s ready to you know.... deegg!

Also it’s feet seem to be kinda curled... is it because she recently(assuming it’s gender) was born... or do I have to put a bootie on her?
