He's gorgeous! My daughter wants a black Silkie so badly she "can almost taste it." I told her that, if she wants to taste it, she'll have to handle that, herself, as I'm not handling that part for her ... Her response was, "Ooooh Mom, that's disgusting!"
She currently has a nearly grown blue splash roo who thinks he's a house chicken and a half dozen white babies that she intends to raise and sell at our 4H fair in the hopes of buying a black pullet, somewhere. She's one determined kid!
Oh - and "spoiled" is good. If you can't spoil a Silkie enough to cuddle and pet it, then it's no fun having a Silkie!
Thank you. I was determined that he be a friendly roo, he hasn’t had any interaction with the girls next door. He parks himself on the couch in the evening when he comes in and hides under the blanket or body pillow.
