I was told the larger black girls were Brahmas when I bought them. They are clearly not. Could anyone help me identify the breeds on these? I got all of these around 4 weeks from mixed coops of leftover pullets so the breeds weren't really known, just a lot of guesses. I was thinking the larger black may be black sex links or black copper marans.

First 2 are black sex links. Third is a cuckoo Marans I think (white legs?). Fourth is 2 dark Brahmas. Last I can't tell from that picture.

I got chicks (6) at Easter. 2 of mine are black sex links. Both have very unique and different personalities. I just adore them. They are friendly and personable. I ordered (5) babies and they are 2 weeks old tomorrow. They are completely different than the first 6. (first 6 came from Tractor Supply......had no idea what they were) the last 6 I ordered from Mypetchicken.com and they are pure breed I guess. I got 2 light Brahama`s (male and female) 1 Wyandotte (female) 1 Americauna (female) and 1 Favercauna (female). Thery are only 2 weeks old, BUT NOT FRIENDLY at all!!! I sure hope they get better. Good luck with your sex links, you`ll love them!!
