yeah...maybe they would consider building one in your area
Tractor Supply doesnt build, actually they go into un used buildings, there for keeping prices lower with no construction overhead.
its a neat concept and it doesnt impact the environment, basically its recycling at its best.
Actually, the
TSC here is a brand new building, built from ground up earlier this year. I went there for heat lamps.
For feed, I still go to the Mom & Pop feed store. They are tiny bit more expensive- but when you walk in the door there are 2 guys who say what do you need and they load it while you pay. And Pop answers questions, has raised livestock for many years.
At the
TSC, you might get a hello when you walk in the door, from a cashier. Then you have to wander all over to find someone to help load, sometimes it takes 20 minutes or more. They want your phone number, and sometimes the loader disappears off again, so you wait even longer. And if you have questions? Forget it. They try to sell you a book.
So I will stay with the small, locally owned store, and only go to
TSC if I can't get it anywhere else. Same reason I only go to
WalMart when desperate. They are killing small businesses.
See Carri? It wasn't ALL sarcasm!
