This is silly...but is there Mottled Silkies?

I tried looking for them online just to see what mottled would look like on a poofball and I can't find a pic

I would love to see them, the hens would look cool. Another color I am waiting to see in silkies is laced. Some say it wouldnt look right because its all fluff but in the soft fluffy feathers of good SLW's you can see the lacing which doesnt look too bad on barbless feathers. Hmm...new projects...

No paint is actually closer to exchequer than to anything else from what I've read.

Hmmm, I'll have to go back and re-read the threads on the Coop. I do know that it was recently mentioned that it came from a cross to a sultan who had leghorn in its background about 12 generations (or years?) previously.
