You know last night I was lying in bed thinking - yes, I frequently think about chickens when trying to sleep (better than counting sheep) - I was thinking how it is that I've never seen either of my two SS in a nestbox. I know they must be laying, because I once got 14 eggs outta the possible 14 pullets, but I have never actually seen those two in the boxes.
So what do I see when I open up their coop this morning? Both SS on nestboxes.


They're probably broody

Oh no, have you checked them again to see if they are still in the nestboxes?
I hate to state the obvious, but it appears you are reaching "broody critical mass" up there.
