This is what a raccoon can do to wire

OK, from now on, no leaving out six-packs of Red Bull for the coons to get into!

WOW... To repeat other comments, I knew they were strong, but not THAT strong...

To be honest I'm surprised those little buggers haven't figured out how to just open the trap yet. Those little guys are smart.

I did have a cat I was trying to trap that knew how to hold the trap door open while he ate the food he would just lean his fat back against the trap door.

We traped a coon just a few days ago.

It was pretty unhappy, but did not try to do what this one did.

Holy jail break batman, that is a determined coon.

I walked into the horse barn a week or so ago and there the coon was eathing cat food with the kittens.

The kittens just looked up like "what ? "

He started to get destructive, so we trapped him.

Never did bother the chickens though.

just look at your systems and structures and harden one aspect per week. if a zoo can keep a lion in i can keep a coon out. of course there comes a point of deminishing returns and overkill.

Thank you so much for posting those pics. Maybe it will convince people to use hardware cloth instead of chickenwire for their runs!
