Sad morning here... We lost our little dark duckling I have no idea what happened. It was fine, happy, enjoyed the swim yesterday and was eating and drinking and running around late last night when I sat with them. DS is heartbroken and I'm very sad too.

I am so sorry.

Thanks everyone It was a bit of a shock finding the poor little thing this morning. I wish now I had more pics. Here it was, after a little help hatching

On a more cheerful note, I just checked on them and they are all fast asleep. Two of the chicks stretched out in the food dish lol Wish I could get better pics of them under the heat lamp.
