    I have the same issue. All my girls love to dig their own fox-holes, some of them deep enough to break an ankle if I step into 'em.

    But it is SO cute to see them pop their heads up and look around like that game, Whack-A-Mole, but without the moles, and no whacking.

    Love it.. he's a happy boy, my LB girls don't have a dirt bath currently since it's been raining but I make sure that there is plenty of DE in the coop with shavings that they can roll in! My other little gals have found a large pot - storm drain size - that I planted veggies in last year but not now my GSL and two Bards can fit in that one! [​IMG]

    Ha! that is a problem!
    Luckily my chickens dust bathing is confined to the coop. And I've nearly broken my ankle in them a few times.
