This is why we raise our own

We have a petrified chicken Mcnuget, that we found behind are daughters dresser when we were moving in 2001. It is still on display, and looks just like it did the day it came out of the fryer. The ants wont even eat it!!

I could not see the movie but I stoped eating fast food after I got a chicken sandwich at McDonalds and the meat was raw!!! Yack!!!

I kept a McD's burger for around eight years once and it's true...it looks and smells the same after all that time.

I used it to show people what they were eating and then talked about better nutrition, etc.

When I was an undergrad and had a grocery budget of $45/week for two people, I used to buy immortal generic store-brand bread ($0.75/loaf, $0.50 on sale). I never had to freeze it for 2-for-1 sales, I knew it would last forever on the shelf. Lunch meat was also immortal, especially bologna.

When I got my very first paycheck from my very first real job out of college, I bought a ton of decent groceries. It was pretty exciting.
