This isn’t coccidiosis right? 🙏

I took two photos of the same stool, one is how I found it and the other is opening it a bit. I am hoping this is just pigmentation and it’s the only one I’ve found like this

It’s about 8am and it looks somewhat fresh so it might just be a weird poop from waking up, I know those can look funky

But if someone has a good eye to tell whether it is or not I would appreciate it

I see a little bit of red in it so looks like the start to coccidiosis. With all this rain its not unusual. (at least in the South) Do you have corid to treat them with? It can take them down pretty fast sometime if not treated.

I do not, but they are on medicated feed

The more I look at it the more I think I see it might just be brown, I showed my grandma and she said it looks normal to her

None are acting off, I hope they’re okay

I should get some to have on hand

They are 9 and a half weeks old and have been out in the coop for about a week and a half

It may be some cecal poop with a little intestinal shed. Look for more of that. Not all strains of coccidiosis cause bleeding. They usually will show signs of being lethargic, hunched up, and not eating with coccidiosis. Corid is not harmful if you decide to use it.

They are all acting normal which is why I am leaning more towards cecal. I was already out so i went tractor supply, they didn’t have corid in stock so I’ll have to order it

I like to have all sorts of things on hand so I don’t mind getting it even if they don’t have something wrong
