Georiga doesnt have an ASPCA *per say*. If you have a livestock report to make you need to get in touch with the Ga. Dept. of Agriculture. Good luck with them doing anything about it. Ive called them MANNNYYYYY times about thin, neglected horses and cows. NOTHING! the woman still has the animals. When you call dont be afraid to ask for a higher up! The lowest person at the totem pole does the work... if they dont feel its legit Im sure it gets put at the bottom of the list. You tell me, would you let a woman that lets her animals look like this?
They did! Im furious but what can I do. Ive called the warden for her dogs, the sheriffs dept., and the DOA, multiple times... nothing gets done.... it soooo sad.
I was able to watch out my kitchen window, her dalmations kill her chickens, geese and peacocks. They were so hungry they had no choice. The dal puppies would get out and come to our house and get into the deer corn bags and scarf it down they were so hungry!.... Sorry.. this has turned into a rant, I hope you have success with turning these cruel people in. If I had the money I take my angry little butt over there and pick those babies up and then turn around and call the DOA right there in front of him... makes me soooo angry!
This cow is sick from something, the pasture looks good so I would think that it needs medical attention, not to mention the calf is probably not getting the nutrients it needs from the Mama heifer, and may also get sick from the same thing that is plaqing the heifer. if you do decide to buy it the price is way to high for a 5 yr old jersey in this condition, and if you do be prepared for a very hefty Vet bill, so is it worth it NO NO. I would just drop the whole matter and leave it be, just not worth the trouble.
OMG, that is just the saddest thing. i hope you are able to report that to someone. If they were on an Animal Planet Animal Cops show, that owner would be arrested.
Seeing pics of animals in this condition, knowing that some people out there have no consideration for the well being of creatures that are helplessly dependent on them for care...
